Cooperative Teachers was chartered in 1953 by a group of Smith County educators.  Their purpose was to offer financial services to educators and their families, as well as all other school personnel.  Though we have grown in assets and members, even reaching out into seven other counties, we have tried to maintain a warm and friendly atmosphere.
