From scholarships to cash rewards, CTCU gives college students exclusive opportunities to save, earn, and get ahead.
Each year, CTCU awards four $2,500 scholarships to deserving high school seniors within our field of membership. These scholarships recognize students who demonstrate dedication, leadership, and a commitment to their future.
Application details are provided to high school counselors at the start of each calendar year for distribution to interested students. Scholarship funds are sent directly to the recipient’s college or university before the Fall semester payment deadline.

We’re proud to offer the CTCU Brand Ambassador Program—a unique opportunity for high school juniors and seniors within our field of membership to gain real-world experience in marketing, leadership, and community engagement.
This year-long program follows the school calendar (August–May) and gives students the chance to represent CTCU at school and community events, promote financial literacy, and develop professional skills that last a lifetime.
While the program is unpaid, students who successfully complete all participation requirements will earn a $500 scholarship to the college of their choice.

$100 cash bonus available for new CTCU members who are pursuing a degree in education at the University of Texas at Tyler. Must provide proof of enrollment. Offer void for current CTCU members or if CTCU membership has been closed within the last 30 days.
To receive offer, the following must be completed within 45 business days of membership: Open a checking OR savings account with $100 or more and a debit card. Must enroll in online banking and eStatements. Must be 18 or older.
The $100 school donation will be made at the end of the calendar year that the new member joined. Offer subject to change. Offer cannot be combined with member referral program or the “student-lead organization” incentive program.
$50 cash bonus available for new CTCU members who are college students at The University of Texas at Tyler, Tyler Junior College, or Texas College and are a part of a student lead organizations including but not limited to academic clubs or professional clubs.
Must provide proof of enrollment. Offer void for current CTCU members or if CTCU membership has been closed within the last 30 days.
To receive offer, the following must be completed within 30 business days of membership: 1). Open a checking account with $100 or more and a debit card or OR 2). Open a savings account with $100 or more. Must enroll in online banking and eStatements. Must be 18 or older.
