    Teachers can earn more than $1,500 in cash, perks, and discounts just by banking with CTCU!

    $100 cash bonus available for new CTCU members who open a CTCU checking account or savings account.

    Must be a teacher or school employee within our field of membership with employee badge and paystub from the past 30 days. Retired teachers also qualify with proof of TRS 1099-R Form. Offer void for current CTCU members or if CTCU membership has been closed within the last 30 days.

    To receive offer, the following must be completed within 45 business days of membership:

    • Open a checking OR savings account with direct deposit of $500 or more.

    Must enroll in online banking and eStatements. Must be 18 or older. For tax purposes, the $100 bonus will be reported as dividends. The $100 school donation will be made at the end of the calendar year that the new member joined. Offer subject to change. Offer cannot be combined with member referral program. Must be listed as the primary account holder on the account. Limit of $5,000 donation per school district per year.

    Offer valid for teachers and school employees within CTCU’s field of membership with an employee badge and paystub from the past 30 days. Retired teachers with TRS 1099-R forms also qualify. Must open a new CTCU checking account with a monthly direct deposit of $500 or more and a debit card.

    Must be listed as the primary account holder.

    To qualify, members must make at least 10 debit card purchase transactions within 45 days of account opening. ATM transactions do not apply. Only debit card transactions processed by merchants and received by CTCU as Point of Sale (POS) transactions will count towards qualifying debit card transactions. Upon meeting requirements, members will receive a $100 virtual gift card within 30 days.

    Limit one gift card per member. Gift cards will be reported as dividends for tax purposes. CTCU is not affiliated with or endorsed by Walmart or Walmart+. Gift cards may be used for Walmart+ or any other purchases, subject to the terms of the gift card provider. Offer subject to membership eligibility and may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice. Must be 18 years or older.

    Mortgages available to qualified borrowers. Owner-occupied residences only. $750 closing costs discount good on first mortgages for purchase or refinance from another financial institution. Minimum loan balance of $100,000. Must be 18 or older. Must be a school employee or teacher within our field of membership with an employee badge and paystub from the past 30 days. Retired teachers qualify with proof of TRS 1099-R Form. Credit restrictions apply. All loans are subject to credit approval. Offer subject to change. For tax purposes, bonus will be reported as dividends.

    Teachers, school employees, and retired teachers are eligible to earn a 0.25% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) increase on any new Term Share Certificate. Minimum balance $1,000. Must also have a deposit account (other than a CD) with a balance of $500 or more OR a loan with a balance of $5,000 or more at the time of opening the CD to qualify. Offer valid only on new money not currently on deposit with CTCU. Once the certificate expires, it is not eligible for more rate increases. Additional CDs opened from the same deposit will not qualify. Must be 18 or older and be listed as the primary account holder. Must provide employee badge, paystub from the last 30 days, or TRS 1099-R form. Dividends will be reported for tax purposes. Offer may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice.

    $25 cash bonus available for current CTCU members who are teachers/retired teachers/school employees and their children/grandchildren. Teachers and school employees must provide badge and paystub from the last 30 days and work within our field of membership. Retired teachers must provide TRS 1099-R form.

    To receive offer, child must open a Kids Club or Teen Checking account with $25 or more. Child must be a new member and parent/grandparent must be in good standing with the credit union. Child must be between 0-12 to open a Kids Savings or 13-17 to open a Teen Checking. Offer void if membership has been closed within 30 days. Offer subject to change. $25 will be deposited to both accounts within 30 days of meeting requirements and will be reported as dividends for tax purposes. School donation will be made at the end of the calendar year that the new member joined.

    Members can sign up as many of their children/grandchildren as they want to receive multiple bonuses so long as the joint account holder is employed as a school employee with their employee badge. Offer cannot be combined with member youth referral program.

    Teachers, school employees, and retired teachers are eligible to earn a 0.25% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) discount on qualifying new loans, excluding mortgage and credit card loans. Home equity loans, auto loans, personal loans, and other consumer loans qualify. Minimum loan balance of $10,000 required. Offer not valid on existing CTCU loans. Limit one promotional rate discount per qualifying loan. Must be 18 or older. Must provide employee badge, paystub from the last 30 days, or TRS 1099-R form. Membership eligibility required. Credit restrictions apply; all loans are subject to credit approval. Offer may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice.

    Excludes mortgage, credit card loans, share secured loans, and CD secured loans.

    Cooperative Teachers Credit Union is pleased to offer teacher grants to encourage innovation and creative instructional approaches. Current CTCU members who are teachers within our field of membership can apply for up to $1,000 in grant funding.
